Just had my BRG here, and I would probably not return. It's an older property, recently converted to a Days Inn, but not spruced up. The front desk staff was well aware of the BRG. Apparently, Orbitz undercuts them all the time. The only major issue I had was the two dozen or so foot-long hairs I found between the sheets and the blanket.
Blog owner, what do you think about setting up a section where people can submit hotel reviews from a BRG standpoint? Let people know whether or not properties are recently renovated, try and charge tax, charge card holds, etc. Tripadvisor reviews are good, but they tend to be a little dramatic.
I think the reviews blog would be a great idea - I'll definitely look into setting that up here. Thanks for the suggestion!
