May not work for BRG as hotelsatanywhere has cancellation fee
----------------------
This is a prepaid reservation. The entire cost of your stay, including tax, will be charged upon booking. In the event of cancellation, a non-refundable fee of $25.00 (USD) will be applied. This is in addition to any penalties which may applied by the hotel due to their cancellation policy.

Cancellation fees don't matter in terms of BRGs. Almost all sites charge some sort of cancellation fee(except a few, most notably Hotels.com). Expedia, Orbitz, etc will ALL charge you $25 if you change or cancel your reservation.

The BRG only works around whether or not the rates are prepaid, nonrefundable, or non-prepaid, refundable. Any sort of cancellation penalty for refunding your money never comes into play, thank goodness.

I have had six approved BRGs at this property in 2008. And two more slated for the remainder of the year.

Rooms are large and clean. Not the most modern property, but the front desk staff is pleasant and the wifi is strong. I did have troubles with my initial BRG's, but they seem to have the process refined. You will pay taxes, but you will also receive WR points.

The worst thing about the property is the satellite TV. THERE IS NO CBS or PBS NETWORK TV, although you will get 3 HBOs, 5 ESPNs, and east coast TBS/TNT.

Also, I use HAA all the time. Never have had a problem with BRG approval.

Thanks for all the detailed information for our readers!

I think most all Super 8 hotels in California charge tax! At least that's my experience from all my BRGs.

Who needed that $8.88 promo anyways when all you need to do is check in with the blog!
