This would be a great place to spend the night for those wanting to plan a summer visit to nearby Zion National Park in Southwest Utah or for anyone just traveling I-15 over the July 4th holiday. The tripadvisor reviews seem very good, which makes this a nice choice!

Anaheim, California- Super 8 Near Disneyland
This Super 8 is an easy 10 minute walk to Disneyland's front entrance. I've stayed here many times and have enjoyed the large pool and relaxing hot tub! This Anaheim motel, along with my previous post, are available for next Friday... (Halloween!)

Anaheim, California- Ramada Limited Suites
Earlier this month I had a BRG here (one of many) and very much enjoyed it. I always walked away never having to pay a dime, which is why I go back! This Ramada has recently put in new beds and flat screen TVs.
Disneyland is up the street less than a mile. (although having a car would be a good idea!) The Anaheim Convention Center is within walking distance. Many restaurants are a short walk away as well, including Denny's, Baker's Square, and Taco Bell. (all across the street)

This San Antonio Ramada Inn is located 4 miles (or about 5 minutes) from SeaWorld and is conveniently situated within walking distance to 5 adjacent restaurants. The tripadvisor reviews appear quite good, especially compared to other San Antonio Wyndham properties we've previously posted.

For those of you who haven't yet heard of Priority Club, it's the rewards program of the IC Hotels Group, which includes brands such as the Intercontinental, the Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, Hotel Indigo, and Crowne Plaza. Many of these properties can exceed the $200/night mark, and most always you'll find them over $100 at the very least.
Luckily, Priority Club offers "PointBreaks" - a list of hotels updated every 2-3 months that are available for a mere 5,000 points (which can be purchased for as low as $11.50 - $13.50 per 1,000 points, depending on the size of your order, or earned through stays). This can provide some steep discounts when compared to the actual booking rates through its website or through sites like Expedia.
Canadians are especially in luck - a mere 750 AirMiles Reward Miles (which literally every Canadian has) nets you 10,000 Priority Club points - enough for 2 free nights! This is by far the BEST way to redeem your AirMiles, Canucks.

We know this BRG location all too well, having appeared here many times in the past. The owners love the pain that BRGs bring, it would seem. The result is a decent place to sleep on your next business trip through Nashville, or for those who are needing to catch an early flight out of town. This one is easily visible by searching Kayak. "Learn to Churn": Increase Your Credit Card Sign Up Bonuses (Featured Article by Rick Ingersoll, The Frugal Travel Guy)
When I told the guys from the Best Rate Guarantee Blog about the latest project I have been working on at the Frugal Travel Guy blog, they quickly agreed to allow me to share it with you.
I wrote a series of articles the week of August 10th to 17th on increasing your credit card sign up bonuses and other credit card related issues.
I have been churning credit cards for the last 8 years, and prior to that have 16 years experience in the credit industry. This November's issue of InsideFlyer will feature a story about credit card churning and I was asked to contribute to the article.
Since writing the credit card articles, I have been helping my readers to better understand the possibilities of credit card churning, while still protecting their credit. My current estimate is that my readers have received credit card approvals for over 4 million frequent flyer miles and hotel points in the last two months.
The initial rush of questions has subsided and I now have the time to help readers of the Best Rate Guarantee Blog as well. You will not be asked any personally identifying information, such as your full name or social security number. If interested, you will be asked to acknowledge that your credit is one of your most important assets and a little bit about your credit history.
Although credit card churning is not my only source of miles, credit cards are the second largest source of frequent flyer and hotel point earnings for the airline and hotel industry. We have been so successful with this strategy and others, Katy (my wife) and I will be taking an Around the World trip this coming April, May and part of June flying in Business Class on frequent flyer miles, and all 61 nights of hotel rooms are free with hotel points, largely due to the many miles and points we have amassed through such credit card offers.

Update on the Ramada Queens horror story...
A little while ago we told you about a reader's experiences with the Ramada Queens cancelling his stay and refusing to honor his BRG claim. He was uncertain as to what would be done to rectify the situation, but we now have news.
The aforementioned guest, Ben, contacted us this morning and verified that Wyndham will be refunding the full amount of his stay to him via cheque. So, there is a silver lining to every cloud.
Anyone who has or had a BRG with this property, be aware that you will be receiving a free night stay, but you will have to be reimbursed by Wyndham itself becuase of this chain breaking their franchise agreement. Rest easy knowing that they're going through hell on Earth with corporate right now for breaking the terms of being a Ramada property. They just learned (the hard way) that they can't weasel out of the BRG.
