Are you someone who enjoys volunteer work and also loves the BRGs? If so, this deal could be for you!
Right now, each one of the 53 hotels throughout the U.S. owned by Sage Hospitality are offering a 50% discount off their published room rates (and in some cities, even a free night stay) to anyone who volunteers at least 8 hours of community service to select charities. Your 8 hours of service must be to a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization to qualify. Examples of this type of organization might include "Meals on Wheels", "Habitat for Humanity", animal shelter, etc. - these are just a few among many.
Check out the list of all qualifying hotels. Some will offer 50% off their rate, while others may offer you a complimentary night! Get every detail you'll want to know about this offer by clicking here.
Be aware that your hotel room must be reserved at least 48 hours before arrival and you are still responsible for room taxes. There may be a few blackout dates that apply as well. You'll be required at check-in to provide a signed letter on the non-profit organization's letterhead proving that you've completed your volunteer work.
Yes, I know, there once was a time when we could get a free night by barely lifting a finger, but this time why not consider doing a good deed for a day to reap your reward?
This offer ends March 10, 2010.
