David and I have had the privilege of working together on this blog for the past 18 months, but what many of you readers might not know is that we went that long without having ever met. We had always just been names in an email inbox - truly, we hadn't even ever talked on the phone during that time!
That all changed last Friday, when David and I finally met over dinner in Fullerton, California, as I was passing through the L.A. area on my way to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a few days in the sun. We enjoyed a good meal, talked business, and afterward headed to a nearby coffee shop to get on the computer and fine-tune the blog's style and brainstorm its direction for the future.
It was a fun evening, and definitely nice to be able to put a face to a name. It's always interesting meeting someone for the first time after having created an idea of them in your mind, and this was no exception. We both realized we're losing more hair than we would have imagined (maintaining this blog can be stressful :D).
