Last year, in what was called the "best credit card offer of all time", British Airways offered a huge 100,000 miles for signing up for its Chase Visa credit card and spending at least $2,000 within the first three months - that's enough for two free Transatlantic tickets. The card also came with plenty of other perks - namely, 1.25 miles per dollar spent on the card (and 2.5 miles on British Airways purchases), a lucrative companion ticket offer, $50 off all fares, and more. Sadly, the deal didn't last very long and the offer was quickly pulled.
