Confirmed BRG, only problem is they said since the difference was less than 50, I must wait 7 to 10 business days for refund and coupon drop, it's not instant anymore : (
It usually takes between 7-10 business days to receive the $50 coupon and refund - that's the standard. I'm not aware of Expedia requiring a less than $50 rate difference in order for an "instant" coupon drop and refund. IF this is true (not confirmed by us) then we'll have to live with it.
That's weird because my coupons are always instant drop. I just called in, hung up and checked - it's already there.
I will warn everyone that the wait is really long today. That one just took me over 40 minutes!
