Just as American Airlines has done, Continental and United Airlines have joined in giving away free bonus miles for a donation of $50 or more to the American Red Cross. This, of course, in an effort to gather funds to help those affected in Japan. From what I hear, donations for the Japan disaster are quite low compared to what was raised for previous disasters, such as the recent Haiti quake. So, needless to say, every dollar helps. Please give if you can. Donators will receive between 250-500 miles, just as the AA offer, depending on the donation amount.
