Here are a couple of hotels featured "On Sale" right now over at getaroom.com. Some of the random dates I looked at for these properties seem to show their sale prices to be lower than what's being offered on Expedia. Room descriptions and amenities seem to be a perfect match as well. I suppose they might even work with Orbitz and Travelocity (though I haven't checked). You may wish to give these BRGs a try!

Tip: A mile away, Birch Aquarium at Scripps has 60 tanks, including a 13,000-gallon shark reef exhibit. There are also three living tide pools and a 20-seat Simulator Ride. The aquarium is set high on a coastal bluff overlooking La Jolla Shores beach.
